As a host for New England Law’s innovative Summer Fellowship Program, you help a first-year law student jumpstart his/her legal career. Summer fellowships are designed to provide hands-on work experience and nurture valuable connections with practicing attorneys. Fellows also earn a $3,500 school-paid stipend.
To be eligible for the Fellowship Program, your position must:
- be unpaid by the attorneys or organizations where the student works;
- involve ten consecutive weeks of legal or law-related work under the supervision of a practicing attorney at a minimum of 35 hours per week;
- not be for partisan political work; and
- end before the start of the upper-division fall semester.
Fellowship placements carry no geographic restrictions, and part-time fellowships may be considered upon request. All fellowship placements must be approved by New England Law.
