US Supreme Court Swearing-In Ceremony

New England Law | Boston alumni may participate in the U.S.Supreme Court group admission ceremony on Monday, June 16, 2014. To be eligible, a graduate must have been a member of the bar in good standing for three years preceding the date of application. Applications will begin to be accepted on January 6, 2014; the deadline for applications is April 11, 2014.

The Hon. Roberto Ronquillo, Jr., '84 has been appointed chief justice of the Boston Municipal Court for a five-year term.
Lieutenant Rebecca L. Castaneda '09 was recently appointed as the aide-de-camp to RADM Fred J. Kenney, the Judge Advocate General of the U.S. Coast Guard. She was also recently awarded the Commandant's Letter of Commendation for her volunteer work with veterans suffering from post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and traumatic brain injuries.
Evie Burguieres '13 is a project coordinator for Red House Staging in Landover, MD, the largest real-estate staging firm in the Washington, DC, area. She coordinates schedules, sales contracts, and logistics for all the stagings done by the company's five project managers on a wide range of properties for sale in Washington, Maryland, and Virginia, including historic properties.
Clarence Richardson '11 was elected to the board of directors of the Massachusetts Black Lawyers Association.
Susan Barrett '08 was named new executive director of Green Mountain Care Board.
Mitchell Birzon '78 is the author of a new book, "Our Best guide to Handling your New York Personal Injury or Medical Malpractice Claims."
William Wynne '13 has been appointed associate at Morrison Mahoney LLP.
William Doogan '13 has been appointed assistant district attorney in the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office.
Paul Gormley '96 received his doctorate in law and policy from Northeastern University. His thesis focused on the ability of defense attorneys to identify and represent defendants with mental illness and options for improving those abilities.
Keith E. Glidden '04 was recognized as a Rising Star in the 2013 edition of New England SuperLawyers and Rising Stars. Only the top 2.5% in each state are selected as rising stars which identifies the best attorneys 40 years and under, or who have been practicing for 10 years or fewer. Keith is an attorney with Verrill Dana, LLP.
Stephen N. Krevalin '76 was recognized as one of New England's SuperLawyers by Boston Magazine. He is an eight time recipient of the SuperLawyers distinction, a multi-year honoree of The Best lawyers in America distinction in the field of family law, and was also elected Best Western Massachusetts Family Lawyer by the Western Massachusetts Law Tribune.
